Found in West Winch, Norfolk, this project started life as a two bedroom detached bungalow.
The property had a compact internal layout with challenges such as a damp internal garage, small lean-to conservatory that had seen better days and two cramped bedrooms.
The property is found in a friendly, secluded street a short walk from the convenience of the village, providing great transport links to Kings Lynn / Downham market, a village green, pitches and charming local pub.
Completed in March 2018, The bungalow has been extensively re-modelled internally with an extension added to the generous side garden, in place of a tired looking lean-to conservatory. The property now provides an attractive three bedroom family home, with neutral finishes of a high quality owing to such features as a modern kitchen, large openings for additional light penetration and a modern rendered outer skin – all a testament to the workmanship of the team involved.
On this project I was involved in several elements in partnership with my Client:
1/. Designing an extended, more efficient internal layout for the building.
2/. Obtaining necessary ‘Local Planning’ and ‘Building Regulation’ approvals.
3/. Providing on-site advice where required to ensure a smooth, efficient build process.
